David and Totoro

Hello all! Yet another Archuleta doodle…now featuring Totoro! David has expressed his love for Totoro in the past, so I decided to doodle this little thing.

I just adore Studio Ghibli. Hayao Miyazaki has this profound way where he can make animations with minimal dialogue and through the animation itself, you can see the characteristics of the character. As an aspiring animator and cartoonist, my respect for him is unmeasurable. And don’t get me started on Pixar. That’s a whole other paragraph which I will write on another day.
